Paramedic practitioners are trained to independently provide care that does not require the intervention of a doctor. They report directly back to the GP with the outcome of their consultation/visit and any updates on any treatment and medication that was given. Paramedics assess and treat health conditions and can order tests and interpret results.

The new Enhanced Access Service commenced on 1st October 2022. This has taken over from the existing Extended Access service – the service offers patients appointment times on the evenings and Saturdays.If you would like an evening or Saturday appointment, please request this when you contact your practice. Details of your appointment, including the location of your appointment (if booked during enhanced access hours) will be given by reception at the time of booking.
