Home visits take the doctors a great deal more time than surgery consultations, and sometimes full examinations and tests cannot be done in the home.

We do however appreciate that this is not always possible. Therefore if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice you may request a home visit.

A clinician will only visit if they think your medical condition requires it, and will also decide how urgently the visit is needed.

We do understand that some patients may not have easy access to transport, but this is not in itself a valid reason to request a home visit.
